Niğde Damızlıklık Sığır Yetiştiricileri Birliği’nde bir araya gelen üreticiler, Ulusal Süt Konseyi’nin belirlediği fiyatın altında süt alımı yapan büyük firmalar ve artan maliyetler altında ezildiklerini ifade ederek, bu şartlar altında hayvanlarını satmak zorunda kalacaklarını söylediler.
Niğde Damızlık Sığır Yetiştiricileri Birliği Başkanı Bilgehan Güney, büyük şirketler lehine değil, küçük çiftçi lehine düzenlemeler yapılması gerektiğini söyledi.
Güney, “Buradan süt toplayan sanayici firmalara sesimizi duyurmak istiyoruz. Ulusal Süt Konseyi’nin açıklamış olduğu fiyatın altında süt toplanıyor. Ulusal Süt Konseyi sıcak sütü minimum 15 TL, soğuk sütü ise 17,15 TL olmasını belirledi. Fakat Niğde’de sıcak süt 14 TL, soğuk süt ise 15,5 TL’den toplanıyor. Üreten çiftçimizin eline geçen para, o sütün raflardaki fiyatının çok altında. Yemi, elektriği, veteriner hizmetlerini karşılamakta zorlanırken, tüketici de yüksek fiyat ödüyor. Bu işin kazananı büyük zincir marketler, sanayiciler ve aracılar oluyor, üretici kazanmıyor. Oysa asıl yükü sırtlayanlar bizleriz. Sabahın köründe ahırında işe koyulan, yağmurda çamurda hayvanına bakan, elinde kalan sütü değerinin çok altında satmak zorunda kalan küçük üreticiler emeğinin karşılığını alamıyor. Süt üreticisini koruyacak adil fiyat politikaları geliştirilmeli, büyük şirketler lehine değil, küçük çiftçi lehine düzenlemeler yapılmalı, üreticinin doğrudan pazara erişimini sağlayacak kooperatifler desteklenmelidir” dedi.
