Sarımsak fiyatlarındaki yüksek artış, geçen yıl Temmuz ayında Türkiye’deki en fazla yükselen tarım ürünü oldu. Zonguldak’ta sarımsak üreten Erdoğan Uzunlar, bu fiyat artışının sebeplerini ve gelecekteki durumu değerlendirdi. Üretim maliyetlerinin artması ve iş gücü sıkıntısı, fiyatları zirveye taşıyan faktörler arasında.
Erdoğan Uzunlar, “Ekilen kısımlarda verim düşük. Kışın beklediğimiz gibi geçmemesi ve nisan yağmurlarının olmaması, üretimi olumsuz etkiledi. Ayrıca işçi maliyetlerindeki artış da fiyatları artıran bir diğer etken. Sarımsak, elle dikilmek zorunda kalındığı için işçi maliyeti çok yüksek.” ifadelerini kullandı.
Pazar esnafı da fiyatların hızla arttığını belirtiyor. Şu an kaliteli bir sarımsak 350 liradan satılıyor. Esnaf, “Vatandaşlar genelde kilo olarak almıyor, artık tane ile satıyoruz” diyor.
Üretimin yerel talebi karşılayamaması nedeniyle Çin’den sarımsak ithalatı da başladı. Uzunlar, “Çin, kuru sarımsak üretiminde dünyada en büyük pazar. Fiyatların düşmesi için ithalatın artacağı belirtiliyor” dedi.
Bakan Yumaklı “Deprem bölgesindeki illerimize toplam 30 milyar lira tarımsal destekleme ödemesi yaptık”
