İznik ilçesi Çiçekli Mahallesi’nde gece saatlerinde kurt sürüsü iki çiftliğe saldırdı. Sürünün hedef aldığı çiftliklerde 6 koyun, 40 tavuk ve 2 kaz telef oldu.
Daha önce böyle bir saldırı olmadığını belirten Çiçekli Mahallesi Muhtarı Davut Kocabaş “Dün gece itibarıyla 2 vatandaşımızın ağılına yabani hayvan saldırısı oldu. 6 koyun, 40 tavuk ve 2 kaz vahşi hayvanlar tarafından telef edildi. Daha önce bu tarzda bir vaka hiç yaşamadık. Bu nedenle yetkililerden ilgi ve alaka bekliyoruz. Bu yabani hayvanların kurt sürüsü olduğunu düşünüyoruz. Birtakım izlere dayanarak büyük bir kurt sürüsünün köyümüze vahşice saldırdığını düşünüyoruz” dedi.
Hayvan sahipleri, bu tür saldırıların tekrar yaşanmaması için önlem alınmasını istedi. Olayın ardından bölge sakinleri, başta tarım ve hayvancılıkla geçimini sağlayan köylüler olmak üzere herkesin büyük bir tedirginlik yaşadığını ifade etti.
